Suzuki and Aprilia Not Competitors for Honda

Suzuki and Aprilia team's arrival as a factory team in MotoGP this season is not a constraint for the Repsol Honda chasing the target champion. In its inaugural season, the two teams "new" was considered only are trials to return to competition.

Suzuki left MotoGP at the end of the 2011 season actually they're already planning a comeback last year but later said it took another year to test their bikes Suzuki GSX-RR. Team Suzuki has now confirmed two Spanish riders, Aleix Esparago and Maverick Vinales

"They went out of business a long time, but had two riders experience Esparago and Vinales. I believe they will be reasonable results from the first, "said Livio Suppo, Team Principal of Honda Racing Corporation in an interview with KompasOtomotif in Bali on Sunday (02/01/2015).

Meanwhile Suppo said conditions will be difficult for Aprilia. More than 10 years manufacturer's motorcycle Italian Piaggio does not touch the asphalt manufacturer MotoGP competition as a team.

"They do not race in MotoGP since a long time, now they are racing with different motorcycles. They do not have strong experience in MotoGP. To my knowledge they will try this year to season test. Basically they are just testing the evolution of their bikes. I think with respect Aprilia knowledge, it will be difficult for them, "said Suppo.

The results of the first pre-season testing conducted in Sepang, Malaysia, Wednesday (04/02/2014), is proving greeting Suppo. Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez main managed to record the fastest time, while the second fastest rider of the team, Aleix Espargaro Suzuki MotoGP Team in 14th and Alvaro Bautista Gresini Factory Aprilia (Aprilia) to-15. 

So when asked if Suzuki and Aprilia will be a direct competitor for the Repsol Honda, Suppo replied, "with respect to the teams and their riders, I think not."
