Front Tire Strategy, Marquez Dominates Austin

Austin - Marc Marquez continued his dominance in MotoGP Austin, he appeared superior in the race which he led since the early laps until the finish line.

Austin is a circuit Marquez. Of the three races that were previously held there in the MotoGP, Marquez completed his third with a champion. Monday (4/11/2016) morning earlier she gets fourth win in a row.

Not just win, Marquez did it in style. He wiped the whole session of free practice and qualifying, and then led the race from the first lap until the finish line. Marquez really had lost the first position shortly after the start, but he took it back after the first corner.

Marquez touched the finish line with a six seconds ahead of Jorge Lorenzo. An absolute victory he called was greatly helped by the front tire selection.

"It was not an easy race because in the warm-up I try to use the same front tire with another rider wear, tire medium. But for some reason I do not feel good," said Marquez after the race.

"When racing, thanks to the team and Michelin, we choose the best tire for me that is the soft tires. I knew we would have a limit but I still choose it. I put on the soft tires and trying to take advantage of its potential early in the race and try to use it to keep a distance, "he continued in Crash.

"I kept going throughout the race because I do not know when the tires will decrease (grip), but in the last five laps I started to feel it on the front tires, I drove up to two minutes six seconds - after previously could be up to two minutes five seconds."

"So we completed the race in front of the tire has reached the limit and it was enough. I've created a distance early in the race, and use it in the last laps," explained the rider owner's two world titles.
