Monte Carlo - eight-time champion Rafael Nadal will meet
Andy Murray in the semifinals. Meanwhile, the shock came after Roger Federer
fell to Jo-wilfried Tsonga.
Nadal qualify after beating 2014 champion Stan Wawrinka in
straight sets 6-1, 6-4 in a quarterfinal match that was held at the Monte Carlo
Country Club, Friday (15/04/2016).
The Spaniard, ranked fifth in the world is looking for his
ninth title Monte Carlo, or the first since 2012. Nadal had not yet won a title
this year.
Furthermore, Nadal will fight for a ticket to the final
against Murray, who in the previous game easy win over Canadian tennis player
Milos Raonic 6-2, 6-0. This is the third semi-final in Monte Carlo for the
United Kingdom's tennis player.
