Mallorca - Movistar Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo believes he
already learned the lesson after the crash in MotoGP Argentina, when he was
less patient in the early phase of the race.
Lorenzo started his efforts to defend the title with victory
in Qatar. But then suffered a crash in Argentina although it had started the
race with a promise.
"I regret that occurred in Argentina," said
Lorenzo, as reported by SpotSport.
"There was a bit of a problem with the front tire
Michelin, bit by puddles, I do not have the patience to remain calm and
understand not had a chance to win. With a little patience I should be able to
finish third as a result of the crash of Maverick (Vinales) and the second
Ducati, as it happens with (Dani) Pedrosa, but my lack of patience. Maybe
because I am familiar with the conditions used to be - I do not crash.
"I think the conditions are not much different, but I
just need a little cautious on the bike. Now I slightly regretted the incident,
but I cannot change what has happened," he said.
Lorenzo rose last weekend by finishing second behind Marc
Marquez in the race in Austin, despite experiencing brake problems on his bike.
"As we (in Austin), a crash can happen to anyone, so
now I already feel it then I will try not to crash more often," said
Lorenzo.
"I'm sure there will be circuits where I find it tough
to win and it will be an opportunity for me," he said.
