Hawks Advance to Semifinals after Defeat Celtics in six Gim

Boston - Atlanta Hawks finally able to beat the Boston Celtics in the playoffs. 104-92 victory achieved in sixth games usher Hawks advanced to the semifinal.

Never before in the last 60 years almost Hawks can beat the Celtics in the postseason games. Quoted by Reuters, the last time the Hawks did it was in 1958. In fact, while in the last 10 meetings in the postseason the Hawks always lose.

In this 2016 season the Hawks finally get back in the win over the Celtics. In six games, held the TD Garden, Boston, Friday (29/04/2016) afternoon local time, the Hawks won 104-92. The result of the game as a whole makes the Hawks a 4-2 lead. In the next phase the Hawks will face the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Paul Millsap scored 17 points in this match, plus eight rebounds. While Al Horford and Kent Bazemore each added 15 points more, do not miss Korver who scored 14 points and nine rebounds for the Hawks.

Isaiah Thomas become the best player in this game with the Celtics scored 25 points and 10 assists. Other donations came from the Celtics points and Marcus Smart and Jonas Jerebko, where each added 13 points for the Celtics.


Cleveland, which will be opposed to the Hawks in the next round, to qualify for the semifinal with a convincing victory. They thrash Detroit Pistons 4-0.
